Supplementary angles total 180 degrees. You can set it up as an equation.
9x + 3x = 180
12x = 180
x = 15
Next, plug the value of x into each measure:
9(15) = 135 degrees
3(15) = 45 degrees
135 + 45 = 180 degrees
