[(x + 3)(x - 3)]/(x - 5)
Divided by (x + 3)/1
(x + 3)(x - 3) * 1
----------------- --------
(x - 5) (x + 3)
The (x + 3)'s will divide off to get 1 leaving
(x - 3)
---------
(x - 5)
