Equation 2:
3(18 - 3) = 45
step 1 do 18-3
now you have
3(15) = 45
and it’s just three, times fifteen.
3 • 15 = 45

Equation 1:
3x + 11 = 11
3x = 11 - 11
3x = 0 (divide both sides by 3 to get x)
3x/3 = 0/3
x = 0
