Why is heliocentric so important what would i put on a presentation

Heliocentric theory is important because it was one of the first slaps to face that science gave to the catholic church. The Catholic Church said that the universe revolved around the earth. Science said STF* and now look where we're at: A world where science has more power than religion. Hope this helped! :)
