What is color theory?

It can get complicated, but in summary, color theory is how we perceive colors (light wavelengths), which colors may look better to use than others, and the different color groups.

[] For example, the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. All colors can be created combining these colors with different shades

[] Secondary colors include those of purple, orange, and green. The colors directly resulted from mixing two primary colors.

[] Last of the main color groups is Tertiary colors, colors from mixing secondary and primary such as teal (green + blue).

Have a nice day!

I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)
