I believe the correct answer is B. To get from the origin to the point (-6, 9), you have to move 6 units to the left, then 9 units up. In the cartesian coordinate, the vertical axis represents y and the horizontal represents x. The left and down directions are negative and the right and up directions are positive. Since the x value of the point is negative so we have to move to the left direction and since y value is positive we go to the up direction.
