What is the midpoint of the line segment whose endpoints are (-8, 12) and (-13, -2)?

formula:
x1+x2/2, y1+y2/2

-8+-13/2, 12+-2/2

-21/2, 10/2
-10.5, 5

finding the midpoint means that it is the exact center of the two points. you would add both x values together and find the average. you would do the same with the y. so, -8+-13=-21/2= -10.5 for the x value. 12+-2=10/2=5. therefore, your answer would be a. hope this helps!!
