I'll show you how to divide fractions. You have the dividend, divisor, and the quotient.

The dividend is the number being divided.
The divisor is the number doing the dividing.
The quotient is the answer to a division problem.

When fractions are involved, you take the reciprocal of the second number then multiply.

I'll do the first three for you.

(2)/(5) ÷ 7

Take the reciprocal of the second number. Which is 7.

The reciprocal of 7 is 1/7.

Then multiply.

(2)/(5) * (1)/(7) = (2)/(35)

6 ÷
(4)/(5)

Take the reciprocal of the second number.
The second number is 4/5. So, take the reciprocal of that number.
The reciprocal of 4/5 is 5/4.
Now multiply.

6 *
(5)/(4) = (30)/(4)

Simplify [tex] \frac{30}{4} [/tex]

(30)/(4) = 7 (1)/(2)

(3)/(4) ÷ 3

Take the reciprocal of the second number.
Which is 3. So, take the reciprocal of 3.
The reciprocal of 3 is 1/3.
Then multiply.

(3)/(4) * (1)/(3) = (3)/(12)

Simplify.

(3)/(12) = (1)/(4)

So, that's how you divide fractions!
