History is my worst subject. About to graduate 8th grade, I got finals tomorrow. No matter how long I study, the vocab I need to know just won't stick. Flash cards don't work the best either... any advice/ideas

A good method that helps me is speech. Have someone read you the vocabulary word then you give the meaning. And then once you get to school request for them to read it to you. And then answer the questions.
If they do not let you do that. Then write down the answers constantly while you say the answer outloud.
