When dividing numbers by 100, the digits are moved to the right by two places, so you are correct. Let's look at an example.

5/100=0.05 or .05
14/100=0.14

By moving the decimal point, the digits "0" and "5" are now on the right. Same with 14; the digits "1" and "4" are now on the right. Therefore, dividing by 100 moves each digit to the right by two places.

Each digit shifts to the left by two places.
To prove it here's an example.
321.0/100 = 3.21
