B is correct - This sentence provides sufficient information to give the reader a visualization of what is happening.

C is incorrect - It only gives us the most basic description of what is happening.

D Is incorrect - I went to a store that sold a variety of WHAT furniture? What kind of store?

It is for sure B. The aroma of bread baking in the oven permeated the entire house.
It's very descriptive.
