Describe the "goodbyes" that are said between Fatima and Santiago as he is leaving?

they are basically saying that no matter how far apart they are they will never truly be alone.Fatima understands that Santiago needs to travel and so she lets him go knowing that she would one day see him again

The mood is sad, however, promisingly. Santiago is leaving to get the treasure with the alchemist, after the farewell to Fatima he thinks in how hard is saying to the loves that you have to go and let her. Fatima, on the other hand, is a desert woman, a strong desert woman, nevertheless, saying the goodbyes she cries, however, both of the have the hope that after Santiago’s return they will get married.
