Answer: In addition to administering 100% oxygen, the patient needs to be put into an ambulance and start the rapid cooling interventions. They patient most likely suffered from a heat stroke. Ice packs should be placed under arms, groin, and behind the neck.

Confusion is a progressed symptom and patient can lose consciousness and even death can occur if the temperature is not brought down.
