Which function does the probability distribution graph represent?

A). P(x) = 2x+1 /20 for x = 1, 2, 3, and 4
B). P(x) = 2x+1 /20 for x = 4, 5, 6 and 7
C). P(x) = 2x+1 /20 for x = 2, 4, 6, and 8
D). P(x) = 2x+1 /20 for x = 1, 3, 5, and 7

I guess it's A, because when you graph the function each point lines up to it's y :)

Answer:

Option: A is the correct answer.

A)
P(x)=(2x+1)/(20) for
x=1,\ 2,\ 3\ and\ 4

Explanation:

We are given a probability distribution graph as:

when x=1 the value of function is: P(x)=3/20

when x=2 the value of function is : P(x)=5/20

when x=3 then P(x)=9/20

and when x=4 then the value of function is P(x)=9/20

Hence, the probability function that satisfies these points is:

Option: A

P(x)=(2x+1)/(20) for
x=1,\ 2,\ 3\ and\ 4
