In a 1,800 calories a day diet just like what Bob should have, it will be an equivalent of 203 – 293 grams of carbohydrates daily. Assume that we will have the maximum intake, which is 293 grams; we just need to get the 45 – 65 % of it. So it will be 190.45 grams per day.
