Jack was getting dressed in the dark and needed to get his socks. There were 18 pairs of socks in the drawer: 8 black pairs, 5 brown pairs, 3 blue pairs, and 2 white pairs. If he randomly picks 1 pair of socks from the drawer, what is the probability that he will pick a pair of blue socks?

The probability of picking a blue pair would be 3/18 because there are 18 total pairs of socks and he doesn't put the socks back

We know that there are total 18 socks, and 3 blue pair
P(picking pairs of blue sock)=
3/18 or 1/6
As a result, the probability that he will pick a pair of blue socks is 1/6. Hope it help!
