Hello,
Option A
(-2)(-49)
=2×49
=98
Option B
(4)(-27)
=-108
Option C
(-7)(14)
=-98
Option D
(-9)(11)
=-99. As a result, there us only one correct option that equal -98 which is Option C. Hope it help!

Your answer is C. All you do is multiply the two answers together, in each choice. Don't let A fool you. A negative times a negative is a positive, which would make the answer incorrect.
