1st, rearrange them from smaller to larger:
.
100, 120, 148, 150, 175, 175, 220, 250
a) Calculate the Median (which is a central value). since the number of data points is even, you have to find the average between 150& 175==>
(150+175)/2 =162.5.MEDIAN =162.5
b) Calculate the mean = (100+120+148+150+175+175+220+250)/8=1338/8 ==> MEAN = 167.25
c) Mode= the most frequent number, that 175
d) The range= larger number - smaller = 250-100 =150
Although mean & median are relatively close. I would select the Median
