A- the heat boils water, which turns a turbine. This turbine turns a generator which converts this kinetic energy into Electrical energy

The correct answer is option A. The heat is used to boil water to spin a turbine.

The heat from the earth is used to boil water which in turn generates steam. This steam has potential to do work so with the help of that potential it rotates a turbine. The rotating turbine then activates a generator which ultimately produces electricity. So, in short we can say that geothermal energy is converted into electrical energy through a series of inter conversions of various forms of energy.
