The answer is C. To find x take y as 0. This will find the x-intercept. If y=0 then x=2. The line will cross the x-axis at 2. To find the y-intercept, set x as 0. If x=0 then y=-2. The reason that you set x or y as 0 is because when finding an intercept's point the other number is always 0. For example, if the line crosses the x-axis at 3, then y=0.
