add all the numbers in the data set
8+47+13+17+26+32
= 143
divide it by the the present amount of numbers ( 6 )
143 / 6 = 23.83 (infinite 3s i think)

The sum of your data set is 23.8333333333.All you have to do is add them all together and then divide by 6, which is the number of numbers there are.
8+13+17+26+32+47=143
143/6+23.8333333333
