Write the following equation in the general form Ax + By + C = 0.

1/2 y - 1/3 x - 1 = 0

y/2-x/3-1=0 add 1 to both sides

y/2-x/3=1 make all terms have a common denominator of 6

(3y-2x)/6=6/6 multiply whole equation by 6

3y-2x=6
