D) create parallel structure
The coordination in the textual structure aims to bring together two or more sentences, which have independent meaning, so that the sum of them helps to construct a more precise and adequate information for the purpose of the author.
Thus, when the author creates a parallel structure, it means he or she wants to have two paths with distinct purposes and senses, that is, there will be no coordination between the two parallel structures. This is the opposite of what textual coordination proposes, which is the combination of phrases to emphasize ideas in order to provide the reader with more clarity in just one structure.
