11) In the first problem we have the angle with the ground and the hight of the truck so we can made a triangle in this form so:

So we can use the tg propertie to find the lenght of the truck so:


\begin{gathered} tg(30)=(37.5)/(h) \\ h=(37.5)/(0.577)\approx65 \end{gathered}

So is 75 ft

12) in this problem the diagram is:

Now we can use the pythagorical theorem to find the distance between the first and the threth base so:


\begin{gathered} d=\sqrt[]{90^2+90^2} \\ d=\sqrt[]{8100+8100} \\ d=\sqrt[]{16200} \\ d=127.279 \end{gathered}

Now to find the speed we can divide the distance by the time so:


s=(127.279)/(1.2)\approx106
