What type of transportation is this scenario? a red blood cell made up of 9% potassium has a sodium potassium channel that moves the potassium ions across the cell membrane. if the surrounding plasma which contains 5% potassium and the cell is only permeable the solvent. osmosis active transport diffusion facilitated diffusion?

As the concentration of potassium is higher inside the cell, no energy should be required to transport it outside, but the involvement of the channels for this transport signifies the involvement of a facilitated diffusion of the potassium ions, down the concentration gradient, with the help of the channel proteins.
