Hi there:)
Total ratio
2+3+7=12
Now find the weight of sand in each bag

Small bag
90×(2÷12)
=15 kg
Medium bag
90×(3÷12)
=22.5
Large bag
90×(7÷12)
=52.5

Hope it helps

Answer:

Small bag = 15 kg

Medium bag = 22.5 kg

Large bag = 52.50 kg

Explanation:

A pile of sand has a weight of 90 kg.

The sand is put into a small bag,a medium bag and a large bag in the ratio 2 : 3 : 7.

A small base has 2 of total weight of sand.

A medium bag has 3 of total weight of sand.

A large bag has 7 of total weight of sand.

Amount of sand in small bag
=(2)/(12)* 90 =15\ kg

Amount of sand in medium bag
=(3)/(12)* 90 =22.50\ kg

Amount of sand in large bag
=(7)/(12)* 90 =52.50\ kg

Hence, The weight of sand in small bag is 15 kg, medium bag is 22.50 kg and large bag is 52.50 kg.
