With the changes in atmospheric pressure, the Boyle's law (P₁V₁ = P₂V₂), Ideal Gas law (PV = nRT), Charle's law (V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂) and Gay-Lussac's law (P₁/T₁ = P₂/T₂) changes accordingly. Thus, the planets that possesses constant value of atmospheric pressure will be more reliable, and those exhibiting varying atmosphere or no atmosphere will be the least reliable.

Boyle's Law , also referred as Gas Law states that, at a constant temperature, the volume of a given mass of gas varies inversely with pressure.
This means that different atmospheric pressure have a effect on the volume of the gas.
