find what makes x^2-16=0 and those are the restrictions since denominator cannot equal 0
x^2-16
(x+4)(x-4)
x+4=0
x-4=0
x cannot equal -4
it can equal 4 because the top will also equal 0 so answer is possible
4-4/4^2-16= 0/0
