Yes. the amount of singers and instrument players is the same.
Because we have 2/5 which means to transform it into decimal form we need to divide the denominator by the numerator, 2/5= 0.4 and (2/5=0.4)=0.4

Convert 2/5 to a decimal and you get .4, or 40%. 40% of the band members also sing, so yes, the band has the same number of string instrument players and singers.
