Trudy’s ice cream shop offers two sizes of ice cream: single scoop and double scoop. On her best day of the year, Trudy sold 256 single scoops and 312 double scoops. If s represents the price of a single scoop and d represents the price of a double scoop, which of the following equations can be used to model the amount of  money (T) Trudy’s ice cream shop made on her best day?

Answer: T = 2*d*{n¹ + n} - {n¹ + n}*a

Step-by-step explanation: The idea is a double cop is normally same quantity with a single cop but serve in two cop for convenience.

So while modelling you take in account the case when the seller decides to make thier prices equal that is

d = a

In that case the total amount of money gotten from sales must be equal to the sum of the quantity of single cop n¹ and double cop n, multiplied by the price 'd' of a double cop since most costumers will go for it for convenience.

Hence, we have

T = 2*a*{n¹+n} - {n¹+n}*d

When d= a

T = d*{n¹+n}
