Next, ask the person to name as many U.S. states as possible in 60 seconds. Keep a count, and watch your timer. Record each person’s data next to his or her age. Repeat this with at least five people, and be sure to survey a range of ages, from young to old.

I chose to put my line of best fit there because it is right in the middle on one side there is about 4 ½ and on the other side there was 5 ½

I think that the older the person got the more states there were about to contain in their brain except for a couple people. As you grow older the more you learn more the states and so its easier to learn and memorize them also as you grow the more your brain develops and grows.

There are no noticeable outliers and yes there are clusters on both sides of the line, with some connecting with others on the line or on the opposite side.
