The median is the line with a dot in the center inside the "box". Its value is wherever it is on the number line. What is between 50 and 100? 75. That's your median. I have been taught measures of spread but I believe that spread and variability are the same. The range is 170 (highest - lowest) and the interquartile range is 95 (q3- q1).
