Draw step 3) Add one dot to every side in step two you can see that the 4 sides have 2 dots just add 1 more dot to each side and you'll have your step 3 solved.
number of dots (y) count up by 5's. 0 5 10 15 and so on..

Maybe for number of dots it can count by 5? (1,5) (2,10) (3,15) etc.
