The most efficient thing to do would be to provide training as firing or doing nothing halts productivity indefinitely while training eventually will finish

Answer:

The correct answer is: "provide training for the IT department".

Step-by-step explanation:

Open-source software is based on free code for all people and places since they want to study, analyze and/or edit the code. In the case of this question, it is more advisable to prepare the staff for developing the tasks in order to also be prepared for future tasks that may be similar. To fire the staff is not a good solution because of all the consequent demands concerning the changes of the whole staff. Besides that, to allow the staff to learn progressively is also not a good solution because it may cost a lot of time with not assurance, as much as to do nothing is the worst idea a firm may have.
