he has a 50/50 chance to land on heads and a 2/6 chance of getting greater than 4

Well a penny has two sides, so the chance of having it land on heads, is 50%. A dice has six sides. And if you want a number greater than four, you have to land it on five or six. Meaning the chance of getting a number higher than four, is 2/6.
