You have to use Pythagoreans theorem. 225=144+x^2
x^2 = 81
sq root of 81 is 9
it is 9 feet away from the wall.

We can do the Pythagorean theorem to find out. We can add a^2+B^2=c^2, filling out 12^2+b^2=15^2
The answer would be 9.
