If a translation maps point (3, 2) to (4, 5); or T : (3, 2) (4, 5), indicate the image for (2, 4).

(3, 7)
(2, -1)
(5, 3)

Answer:

The image for (2, 4) is (3, 7)

Explanation:

Given a translation maps point (3, 2) to (4, 5) or we can say

T: (3, 2) to (4, 5) i.e

T(x, y)=(x+1, y+3) so that T(3, 2)=(4, 5)

Now, we have to find the image for (2, 4)

∴ Put x=2 and y=4 in above translation mapping

T(2, 4)=(2+1, 4+3)=(3, 7)

Hence, the image for (2, 4) is (3, 7)

We have to find the image for ( 2, 4 ) if a translation maps point ( 3, 2 ) to ( 4 , 5 ).
T : ( x, y ) → ( x + 1 , y + 3 )
Therefore:
( 2 , 4 ) → ( 2 + 1 , 4 + 3 ) = ( 3 , 7 )
Answer:
A ) ( 3 , 7 ) is the image.
