Vegetative Production) is a form of asexual production in plants. Asexual reproduction is a mode of reproduction by which offspring arise from a single parent and inherit the genes of that parent only. The offspring will be exact genetic copies of the parent. So the offspring of the strawberry plant will be genetically identical to the parents

The offspring will be genetically identical to the parent because vegetative reproduction is a form of asexual reproduction. Therefore, there is only one parent and the offspring is identical to the parent.
