How were Japanese Americans treated during the WW2? Why did some Americans feel this was necessary? Were their fears justified?

The Japanese Americans where treated like the were traitors and they were the enemy. Some felt it was necessary because they were Japanese and could be spies or traitors. To an extent yes because some Japanese Americans were spies.
