First find the volume of the block(s):
A=s^3
s=side length

A=1^3
A=1 cubic inch

Next, find the volume of the shoe box:
12*6*5
360 cubic inches

Finally, divide the volume of the larger box by the volume of the block to get how many blocks will fit:

360/1 = 360 blocks

Collect information:
Shoe box is~
a. 12 in. long
b. 6 in. wide
c. 5 in. tall
Find Volume:
To find volume...
Multiply length * width * height
l*w*h
Plug in numbers
12*6*5
This gives you, 360
Since we know that we want to find out how many 1 in. (which requires no extra work) blocks would fit, you can simply divide 360/1
Thus, you final answer would be, 360.

I hope this helps!
