base is 8
height is 4
area=1/2*8*4
area=4*4
area=16 square cm

Well b (base) is 8 in the picture and h (height) is 4. Plug those in:
A = bh/2
A = (8 x 4)/2
A = 32/2
A = 16
Answer is B 16 cm^2
