How can you find the distance between the points (9,1) and (6,1)

Subtract the absolute values of the numbers that are different (9 and 6.) The absolute value of 9 is 9 and the absolute value of 6 is 6 so 9-6=3

On the X axis, they are 3 unites apart, since 9-6=3. That's all there is to it. Ask me if you need another example.
