The value of y varies directly with x, and y = -16 when x = -4.

If y = -16, then x = -4

So, we know that y is always going to be 4 times more than x.

So, simply multiply y by 4 or divide x by 4 to get your answer.

When x = 8, y = 32 because 8 × 4 = 32
