Depending on the importance of the system, usually a domino effect will occur and the entire body function will.. well, basically, shut down.

If one of the body systems is not functioning properly then the person would most likely face difficulties, further more it would lead to death. When one part fails then the other does too due to the lack of teamwork which all the systems do.
