A bank is a financial institution licensed to receive deposits and make loans. Banks are very important in many ways. Banks help people because they provides loans. Loans are borrowed money from the bank that must be payed back later with interest. Banks also help businesses because if someone wants to purchase a business they can use money from the bank to help pay it of. Banks also help the government because the government uses money from the bank to pay for things as well.
