to find the slope with two coordinates use

y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

first find the difference between the ys

the 2nd y point is 5, and the 1st y point is -10, so subtract them from each other

5 - (-10) = 5 + 10 = 15

then find the difference between the xs

the 2nd x point is -1, and the 1st x point is -5, so subtract them from each other

-1 - (-5) = -1 + 5 = 4

now put the difference in ys over the difference in xs

15 / 4

So thats your slope
