Soccer is volleyball + 1.5. Replace soccer ball in the equation soccer + volleyball = 37.70 with v + 1.5. Now you have 1.5+v+v=37.70. Combine like terms to get 2v+1.5=37.70. Subtract 1.5 and divide by two. Then insert v to find s.
V=volleyball
S=soccer ball
