When a substance freezes, what happens to the mass? The mass increases as it changes from a liquid to a solid. The mass decreases as it changes from a liquid to a solid. The mass stays constant as it changes from a liquid to a solid. There is no mass once the substance becomes a solid.

Not 100% sure but the mass should stay constant unless evaporation occurs
