A. The tittle of an essay

I'm not sure why though. All the different rules for English. Apologies if I get it wrong.

Answer:

A. Title of an essay.

Step-by-step explanation:

The title of an essay should have quotation marks because it is a small piece of work, such as a poem, a song or an article.

On the other hand, the title of a book (or a novel), a magazine or a play use italics because they are larger pieces of work.

For example:

"Ode to a Grecian Urn" by John Keats (a poem)

Kindred by Octavia E. Butler (a novel)
