11 mph

Explanation:

Given that a man who can row in still water at 5 mph

The river is flowing at 6 mph.

We know that upstream speed = speed of man in still water - speed of river

and downstream speed = speed of man in still water + speed of river

So answer would be got by adding 5 and 6

=11 mph
